Of Kings and Men
" City Dwellers are considered better than peasants, but there is little difference. They work and toil in workshops, scribe-houses and guilds in cities, and belong to the Craft Houses.
They are given slightly more freedom than peasants and are allowed to choose what sort of labour they wish to work at, their taxes are significantly smaller than peasants, and they are allowed a greater freedom of movement. In all other ways, they are identical to the peasantry."
